built in the middle of the 18th century along the medieval ramparts.

The horses left the buildings
The premises remained unused until the city of Strasbourg entrusted the renovation and operating of them to IRCAD.
in 2010
The first reconstruction works began
The architecture, development and design were entrusted to internationally recognized professionals to create tailor-made furniture and atmosphere.
in 2013
The hotel les Haras opened its doors with these 55 rooms.
The nobility and charm of the place had been preserved. The Hotel les Haras perpetuates the memory of its occupants as heritage !
in 2020
An extension project
The Haras hotel unveils 60 new rooms, a wellness area with a spa, indoor swimming pool, a fitness room, three CODAGE treatment booths, three modular seminar rooms, a breakfast room and outdoor terraces.

Riding Academy
Les Haras de Strasbourg was the seat of the municipal academy.
in 1756
The Royal Haras
The site was joined in 1756 by the Royal Haras at the request of Marquis Argenson.

Recognition as a historical monument
The facades, the roofs, the monumental portal and the large stable were classed as historical monuments.
